Summer Term 2007

As Summer quickly draws to a close, the smell of barbecue's and mown glass will quickly change into bonfires and fog.

The past four months have flown by with many changes to our house teams but alas we can say we got to the end of our very first term.

Back in June we started the Interhouse Battle of the Babyz, everyone enjoyed participating and Green came out as the winners!

Earlier in August we took a quiz to see how much we had learnt about our fellow housemates over the past three months and Blue came out tops with a fabulous 55% correct.

Our last deciding "task" was overall house posts and one house outshined this term.

Let's congratulate BLUE as the Summer Term 2007's winner of the House Cup!

Let's take the last week to say goodbye to our housemates as who knows when we will join them again!

What this means: Summer's here. Well...it's been here for a while, but it's really reflecting in the BC right now. Bright colors are everywhere in clothes and babyz. And Bryanna's tank top from Hexies Galore is popping up in tons of mootiques. Don't be afraid to try out different things in hexing, new rosie colors, tatoos (try somewhere other than the belly!) and brightly colored bobbles. Also, new sites have been springing up overnight, kicked into motion by WWW.dot week! Don't let them die now that it's over!

Now's the time to experiment with your hexing. And if you don't hex, it's a great time to try and learn!

Advice Column

Dear Kelley,

As a single mother, I find it hard to handle all my children at times. I enjoy them all very much, but sometimes I feel I pay more attention to some more than others. How can I make sure all my kids get equal attention, without making the game boring for me?

Dear Mother of 22 and counting,
I suggest that you split your babyz into groups. First, play with all of them to see who gets along with who. After you've figured that out it should make it easier to decide which group each baby will be in, because you'll know who gets along with who. Two groups of 11 would work well. Play with the babyz in Group A for two or three days, then put them away and play with the babyz in Group B for the next few days. No matter how much you want to play with a certain baby, don't do it unless they are in the group you should be playing with at the time. If you still find yourself favoring some of your babyz, split them up into smaller groups.
