Downsizing A "Forever"

Sometimes, you long for that special baby. The one that makes you smile every time you see them. The one that lights up your game. The one who you look forward to playing with every time you load the game.
Sometimes you know it when you see it. You see an adoption, and you think oh, that is the baby for me! Or you are gifted a baby, or ask for a request. You bond with the child instantly. However, two or three years later, you realize you don't click anymore. What do you do? Do you adopt the baby out? Do you put it in a folder? What is the best thing to do?

Think about it. Sometimes it is for the best to downsize them. If you're not giving them the attention they deserve anymore, it's for the best. If you have a close friend who's always admired the baby, why not brighten up their day by randomly popping it in their inbox? If you think you'll want the baby back, folder him/her temporarily. Follow your heart. It rarely lies in cases like this.

Lined Background Tutorial

This tutorial was done in Paint Shop Pro 7.
Step 1) Create a new image. The size doesn't matter because it's a background and would be repeated on a website. I started with 100 width, 100 height. You can make this one solid color but using the flood fill tool, or you can make it multiple colors. It's all up to you. For the example, I did hot pink and light pink.

Step 2) After you've colored your image as you like, go to Effects>Texture>Blinds. I've dropped the Width Meter down to 2 and the Opacity meter down to 42. I've got Horizontal checked and Light from left/top checked. Click ok.

Step 3( You're all done! But it's fun to mess around with the color, width, and opacity because you get different results and you might find that you get something else that you like better! So step 3 is to go play around with it. Sooooo Step 3 is a contest! Create an 100 x 100 or 150 x 150 image with the lined background. Make it cuter with brushes and stuff like that and add a kid of yours! PM it to Erica or Moosletter! The winner gets all the clothes in my mootique for free.

Baby of the Moment:

We decided to interview a baby in the BC to see what they thought of the important things in life. This week we chose Ainsley's Star!

Questions:

How old are you? Two and a half! My birthday's in June. Or July. One of the 'J' months....but I'm thinking June. 2005, bby.

What is your favourite toy? Ouu the stuffed crossdresser! Err..most call it the stuffed man, but mommy gave our stuffed man a little pink bow! So he's the stuffed crossdresser.
I throw him alot.
S'how I get my kicks. :]

Favourite food? Eww! I'm not a big fan of food, personally. At least not the stuff at our house! Mommy's into healthy foods, so I have to stick to milk and juice! We need some ice cream cake up in here!!

Favourite thing about your mother? She gives me lots of fun clothes to play with! And she even made me a pink bathtub! Since pink is, after all, my favorite color. And green. Like my hair clippies!!

Least favourite thing about your mother: She's yet to make those mean old butterflies at our house go away! Those silly things make me want to throw something at them. And not something soft like a teddy bear, something that could cause some damage. Like...a sharpened spoon from the kitchen. >;]

Favourite thing to do: Dance in my diaper..and nothing else! Heheh!

Milktional Lotto

Quite a few months ago, Amy, Kirsty and I created a lottery for all of Milk to enjoy! Little interest was shown, but it's been brought back with hopes that Milkers everywhere will enjoy it. Basically, you pick 3 numbers from 1 to 40. This counts as one ticket. One ticket is 10 bells and you can purchase up to 5 tickets per lottery. It draws once a week and is a great and fun way to participate and earn extra bells! So head over to Money Milking Schemes and play Milktional Lotto!

Halloween and the BC

It's the month of Halloween and new sites have been produced to make Halloween fun for Milkers and their lovely bundles of pixels! Jen and Zel have created Trick or Treat and Shnuck and Budgie have created TOTLLamas for everyone to enjoy. Dress your kids up in costumes and pass out your treats when the time comes and make this the BC's best Halloween yet! PM a picture of one of your kids in a costume to Erica or Moosletter and the winner will be featured in the next Moosletter!
