Welcome to Just Anudder Moosletter! This is a roundup of last week's events and a preview of what's to come! Most of what you'll find here is cold, hard fact, but be warned there's sometimes a little fiction too.

Back to School! By Jen

That is time upon us again, our bags are packed, our uniform pressed and pencils sharpened. It's back to school season! Are you ready? Our babyz sure are! Aiden looks set for an Math lesson in her gorgeous uniform.

The main point of this post is that we lose some valuable members as they settle into their new schools. Good luck in your education and be sure to check in now and then! We might have a special adoption you can take with you to school ;)

As an added bonus we will be giving babyz 25 BCRS points if they dress up in their school uniforms this week!

Look out for other school related goodies this week at Milk!

Ring whose bell!? By Tracy

Quickly cows - get down to Milk and get investing! The ever-growing, ever-popular Babyz forum 'Milk' - originally opened by Kennedy & Jen - has opened it's bank doors!

Milk Cartons of the Babyz forum can now invest in 'Shares' - the Administrator's Forever Babyz - play Babyz Bingo or even get a job to earn themselves some of the new currency - Bells.
Milk Cartons can open a Bank Account and are automatically given 100 Bells to start off their account. Bells can be spent on adoptions or any other service that may be given to one from another Milk Carton - for example, a photoshoot or family picture. Milk Cartons can even hire an accountant to help take care of their account and their balances.

It's a huge step forward for the Babyz Community as only a week or so ago, we lost the popular Babyz forum 'As Seen On TV' [ASOT to those who knew it well] and the Milkistrators creation of this currency is something that has never seen before in the BC!
Most Milk Cartons have already opened their Bank accounts at the time of writing so it looks as if the Milk Banks will be a huge success as is the forum itself.

Dangerous Decisions By Shelly

This week a horrible idea has reached the surface: To adopt, or not?

Babyz everywhere are screaming the latter, finding it reduces their self-esteem, attention, and appreciation by ever-increasing amounts.

"I hate when I get a new sibling!" Comments Ryder James, 11-month-old Milk resident. "It makes me feel like Mommy doesn't want to spend time with me anymore and is trying to replace me." His feelings appear to be shared by the majority of my peers in our fine Community.

But there is still hope! The next youth we interviewed felt that he had a solution for this terrible problem that is impeding upon our everyday lives.

"I think if our Mommys would think over their choices a little better, this issue wouldn't be so huge." The boy stated, chewing at an 'S' alphabet block. "Cos then they'd know if they really wanted the kid. And the more time they spend with their children, the more they find out about them! Sometimes they realise they just don't like one of us so much as they like the way we look. That's why I approve of fostering. It lets Mom get to know this new Dick or Sally before she commits to them." Dominique set his block down, finishing the word 'support' and out interview with him.

So, the question remains: Should adoption have more rules limiting our habits? It's for the parents to decide.

Shane McKenzie out.

Ask Milo! by Liz

Dear Milo,

I'm not having a good time at the moment. I love my Mummy and my house, but she keeps adopting babyz I hate. First of all it was Ida, and now there's another one called Boston Massadoodah.

I hate them. My best sister Corinne is the only one who understands. We throw things at them and leave them out of all our games, but they still won't go away!

Mummy says she is not happy with my behaviour, but what else can I do? Please help me.

Love,
Scarlett x

Hi Scarlett,

Never fear, new siblings are always a nightmare! Firstly I must ask what kind of things you are throwing at them? If it is food then this is a big no no, your mum will be able to see the stains on their clothes and you will be in big doo doo, try flowers and teddy bears instead. As a last resort, make sure they eat lots and lots of cookies and milk, even offer them yours to appear friendly, then they will be really sleepy, they will doze off and ta-da you and Corinne will have mummy all to yourself! Never fails!

*********************************

Dear Milo,

My mummy built lots and lots of block towers for me, but when I knocked it down she sat me in the corner of the room and gave me a teddy bear to play with so she could build them up again! Why is my mummy being so protective over her block towers? And why did she start making growling dinosaur noises every time I went near them?

She sounded like this: RAAAAAARGH! I AM GODZILLA AND I WILL DESTROY YOU!

And then she started making squeaky voices like this: Noooo! Godzilla, go away! Don't hurt us! Noooooo! aaaaaaiiiiiiiiii!

And then she started growling again, like this: RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH! MUAHAHAHAHHAA! I WILL DESTROY ALL CIVILISATION!

Do you understand her? I'm worried she may be ill.

from Dylan

Yo Dylan,
I am tutting very loudly here because your mum is suffering from “this is for my enjoyment and not yours” syndrome. All Mums suffer from this at some point, what I suggest you do is sit her down in a dark room and throw elephant animal crackers at her, you can eat the lions and giraffes, they have proven to be ineffective. She will soon understand that although it is enjoyable for you it isn’t for her. If this fails tell her firmly that they are your toys and if she has to play with them she should wait until you are sleeping. I hope I have helped you Dylan.
