Welcome to the 2nd July edition of the Milk Moosletter.

Happy Birthday Milk

It's hard to believe that something conceived on a whim in the middle of June 2006 would actually come to life and be so successful.

The idea came from Kennedy who wanted an adoption site…but wouldn't a forum be oh so better? Over the first two months Milk grew into much more than just an adoption site; Milk Wars were born in August 2006, quickly followed by Buffalo Town in September.

Whilst the role-playing didn't take off quite so successfully its comrade - bells - did. Bells are used in every that happens at Milk from auctions for Babyz to everyone's own exclusive mootique.

On 29th June 2007, Milk turned one year old and with over 160 members doesn't show any sign of slowing down quite yet!

On that note…lets look forward to another successful year at Milk, thank you to all our members!

Big Sister/Little Sister

Being new is the in thing, why? Because at Milk new members are welcomed with open udders.

Once you've finished introducing yourself, visited your house and even made a few replies, why not get yourself a brand new big sister to help you in the sometimes difficult transition from newbie to Milker.

Oldies aren't forgotten about though! You're our most important tool.

Don't think of having a little sister as annoying and boring; think of it as passing your knowledge onto a new member to keep the BC alive.

Four years ago it was said on a forum "the BC is dying", whilst we're no where near dying we need to be kept alive by passing on useful information to new members and in four years time they will be the oldies passing on their wisdom.

Help the cycle and become a big sister today!

Milk Houses

When you receive spam in your inbox, your first thought is usually to send it straight to the trash can?

Not at Milk, we seek fresh ideas from everything around us, so on 14th June when Jen received some spam, she didn't automatically click delete, the little cogs in her brain started spinning. What about houses?

And on the 15th June, Liz and Jen had transformed Jen's rational idea into being.

There are four houses at Milk and every single member belongs to one.

New members are automatically placed into a house and never have to feel alone in the big wide world that is Milk.

What do you think about the houses? Our milkiest letter will receive 50 bells. PM your replies to a mod!
